Around the country, many teachers see demands to cut their income, benefits and say in how schools are run through collective bargaining as attacks not just on their livelihoods, but on their value to society.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This from the NY Times on criticism of teachers<\/a>. How to deal with these attacks? I am thinking comments from teachers themselves are often ignored as self serving and potentially inaccurate. I would think parents should be in a position to offer a defense.<\/p>\n
