When writing for my traditional educator audience I try to take the position that the development of argumentation skills is more important than coding and more STEM. Argumentation is key to the process of science and to public involvement in politics. <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"8pu2d\" data-offset-key=\"6pof7-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"6pof7-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"6pof7-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"8pu2d\" data-offset-key=\"9evcp-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"9evcp-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"9evcp-0-0\">You may not be able to read this article from the WSJ, I read it from another source but see the reference runs into the paper&#8217;s firewall. It takes the same position I take without the evidence from researchers that evaluate the skills of argumentation and test tactics for instruction.
