I have tried to figure out what this is and have read many who thought they knew. I have decided I do not have the mental horsepower or at least the time to take a broad view and work out the connections. Maybe this weirdness has always been there, but if so I am guessing our media and the Internet have resulted in much greater awareness and damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I happened across a podcast that does attempt to take a big picture perspective and much of what they say seems insightful.
