The Psychology Department hosted a very nice reception to recognize my retirement. I had a chance to shake the hand of many folks I have known for a long time. Very generous gifts and kind words. There was also the opportunity for several colleagues to identify my eccentricities, but in the spirit of most roasts I had the last word and was allowed to return the favor.\u00a0 This place has played such a major role in my professional and social live it will always be with me even when I live somewhere else.
