I have turned the comment option off for this blog. For every legitimate comment I received, I had to delete 20 spam messages. I must be on some list or something.
I am not certain I understand the motive of those who attempt to spam this blog. To my knowledge, their comments never went public. The spam was easy to spot – I could see the link that was included and it was obvious from link that the link went to what was typically a commercial site. I just got tired of taking 15 minutes each evening to delete these posts.
