I have great respect for my children’s taste in music. My son in particular has interesting taste and I attribute this partly to his profession. He is a video editor, but sometimes selects music to put behind the video content he generates.
Anyway, he recommended that I listen to a presentation (talking – the type of presentation academics like me are accustomed to considering) given at South by Southwest by Bruce Springstein. Somehow, when anyone under the age of 40 knows “the boss” I am impressed. Somewhere I have a boxed set of casette tapes – I wonder if I still have a casette player. Anyway, I also recommend this presentation (available from NPR even).
