Debating the Kahn Academy and the concept of a flipped classroom seem to attract a good proportion of the ed tech chatter of late. To me, these topics are not equivalent, but Kahn has moved his original approach from homework help into something more (see The One World Schoolhouse) and this has brought the topics together in the way many classify current issues. Here is a thoughtful post that is critical of one possible interpretation of what Sal Kahn is working on.
