Twitter has unsuspected depth.

 

Really? Time has made Twitter a cover story. Read the article. Maybe it will help explain what is supposedly useful in 140 character Tweets.

I think the Touch is a great tool. I think it has some weaknesses as a complete solution. However, it seems a reasonable starting point for Apple to move toward a tablet net device (I like the sound of that). The iSchool Initiative proposes the present device is at least a place to begin.

According to Gizmodo, Microsoft is advocating the renaming of netbooks (Low cost small notebook PCs). Too complicated. How about – “cheap, sometimes good enough PCs“.

I guess I still like netbook.

Great music and a great cause. It is not obvious from this site, but this material is available through the iTunes store.

It is being reported that the Chinese government is limiting Internet access to sources that mention Tiananmen Square as the anniversary of the confrontation approaches. I doubt this is a problem for the Chinese people, but I have difficulty with any government ignoring the realities of history.
